Countdown to NaNo: 9 days to go

Oh, my, it is less than one week until our local kickoff meeting!  Still, no writing for 9 more days, and I can hardly wait.

I found a slightly reassuring quote (that I just knew I had somewhere) this morning.

“We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing.  Action always generates inspiration.  Inspiration seldom generates action.” ~ Frank Tibolt

I think I will make a background for my desk top incorporating this quote for use during NaNo.  It serves two purposes:  right now, to make me feel better about not prepping more (I will, I will!), and during, I hope it will help me over the hurdles of self-doubt.

After all, if action generates inspiration, all I need to do is start writing and it will come, right?  Please stop laughing, I can’t hear myself type….
