Countdown to NaNoWriMo 2008: 2 days, 4 hours and 14 minutes

I have tried to talk myself into working on a plot / outline, but to no avail.  I am instead arming myself with lots of music, lots of caffeiene, and begging for write-ins and word wars.

I plan to start off about 2:30, after a night out with friends.  I figure whoever is talking the loudest then gets their story told.

Am I worried, oh, yes.  I’m trying not to be, though.  I feel like last year, though the outline kept me on track with my word count, it made for some forced scenes.  This year, maybe I will be able to avoid that.
