About

Today’s challenge:  make an “About Me” page that doesn’t sound like a personals ad.  Okay, so there will be no mention of long walks on the beach.

I have more questions than answers, and I like it that way.  Like the Alan Jackson song, I’m definitely a work in progress.  Asking questions, seeking answers and learning new things is what keeps us from becoming stagnant (one of my greatest fears – look at that, I’m opening up to you already!).

My personal preferences run toward good food, good wine, good company, insightful conversation, healthy debates, and fabulous books (not to be confused with “great literature” – high school English killed any interest in that).

I like to write and am hoping to one day develop confidence in my skills.  Fortunately for me, I have a fabulous support group always ready to tell me that I’m a great writer.  If I ever quit believing that their comments are inherently biased, I am sure to have a swelled head in a matter of seconds.

Now, perhaps an “About You”, if you will allow me to be so presumptuous:

I’m glad you’re here.  I really am.  It means a lot to me that you would read my blog and check out my “About” page, even if I already know you.  And if I don’t, I’m sure I’d like to.

Please know that you are appreciated.  Feel free to comment on anything you like, even, and most especially, if your opinion differs from mine.  Leave me a link to your writing or a way to contact you if you feel so moved.  I would be delighted.

Have a great day and remember:

The world is full of questions waiting to be asked.

Life is alive and wating to be lived.

Life if full of love waiting to be explored.

Happiness is ready and waiting to be found.

 Live life; breathe love.

 Find happiness; question everything.
